Default S550GT VS ZO6 and supercharged S197

Couple of cool races last night. The first video is a 16 Z06. Stick car on drag radials. Best run of the night for the Z06 was a 10.85. The Vette is a sexy ****!!! Next video is a full bolt-on and supercharged 4.6 2006 Mustang GT. Stick car on drag radials. Just goes to show what a difference 10 years makes. A supercharged Mustang would have been a hard to beat monster a few years ago!

Boy, whoever is driving that Mustang , they sure can cut a good light, especially the 2nd vid. lol

And I gotta say, I'm liking the new Vettes.

Also, what great days we're living in today, I got into cars in the 70's/80's when a 15 sec. car was respectable lol. Almost time for another oil crisis.....

That Vette is just plain sick!!!! Zo7 package. 130k. I think he wiped out the clutch by the end of the night though.

Technology is a changing. Just look at what these tiny ecoboost motors are doing for example. Livernois pulling 11s out of their 2.3 Stang, mid 12 f-150s with just a tune, etc.

As far as the old 4.6s go, I don't even think they are worth building for boost. By the time you drop $10k into a built 4.6, you might as well just drop a new 5 liter in it and boost that. That second vid pretty much says it all.

Come on down. I promise not to redlight when we race. I bet, I still win against that 800hp beast of yours.

LOL - you might, but you'd get only one chance, they'd kick me out after that pass

All I'm hearing is you don't want to risk a loss to a car with half the power.
