See video below, its an oldie from when i was on 555R's and still had the 3.55 gear. Always 60'd 2.0-2.2 I'd say you look about a 2.0 its been a bitch to get the 60' down in this car even with all the suspension and gear and converter.

The more I watch it the more I see it. Must be a mach thing. Makes me want to skip the 4:10s and go straight to a 4:30 gear.

If top speed isn't a big deal for you I would. The 4.10s made a seat of the pants difference but did nothing for my 60' I'm putting some street tires on this spring, be interesting to see what fun I have with 4.10s and the stall lol. With the 4.10s and streets I could roast them from a 30 roll lol

Crazy top speeds aren't a big deal to me. In past Machs with 4:10s I've been able to run all the way to 155 no problem. The 3:55s struggle to hit that mph. I wouldn't think 4:30s would diminish that much if at all. Anyway, long as the car will go 130 I'm more than ok with it.

4.30s for sure... even a 2V PI car feels wicked with 4.30s. DO IT

Keep in mind I'm auto but with 4.10 gear and 26" tires I top out like 126 maybe a touch more but deff not doing 130. And I'm not going into OD while WOT

I want to say 4:10s top out at 125-130 in 4th gear iirc. So 4:30s would push it back to what, 115 in 4th?

OP, side step that clutch at the line. Don't ride it.

I never feathered the clutch and normally netted 1.7 60' at the track with your power level. With around 560rwhp I could get into the 1.4s side stepping.

I'll try that Simon. Going back and watching the vids I was able to see how I was riding that clutch way too much.
