Track update after gears.

It's nice down here right now, Orange. Most of February has been in the 70s with several 80 degree days. Not all that normal honestly, but even a normal winter isn't enough to shut the track down for a whole month or anything.
Looks I'll be buying some better tires.

Didn't mean not to respond to you. I'm going to hang on to it for awhile. LS is def an easier route, but I'm having more fun with this Mach. I'm racking my brain trying to figure out where to dig up $3-4K for a blower but yea. Zex has some fairly cheap wet kits, but I guess I better do the responsible thing and fix the traction first lol

Is that what it needs? I'll do it if this is the issue. I didn't take a pressure gauge, but I let some air out and when I did it dropped to a 1.99 60'. Your input is appreciated sir.

Ive found that a lot of people show up with to much air in their drag radials for the weather. I'll run my radials as low as 14 psi on a cold day. Never higher than 16 on a hot summer day. Never hurts to try. Lowering the air is free. A couple of cheap drag springs and a set of dampers set to soft. Helped my 95 a lot. Id bet with the gears, you could cut low 1.7s maybe even high 1.6s once you get everything ironed out.

You're right about the tire pressure. I showed up full pressure. That 2V that ran low 13sdid too, but dropped his to 18psi and went from 2.1s to a 60 that put him on that 13.2. I'm going to order those shocks and springs anyway, I'll need them for sure later either way. That and lower the pressure. I know this car can do better than this.

When i first started i aired way down a bogged but I'm an auto. You could try starting really low and if it hooks keep going up 2psi per run until you start spinning again. You dont want to go too low though. I didnt notice much difference if any with my adjustable shocks but i dont hit the tires like a stick car.
