Default 2015 Mustang GT vs 2 camaros

Decided to go on a small road trip in Florida. Took the mustang so we could stop at Bradenton motorsports park for test n tune and use the passes to tune the launch on the car that really hasn't been touched by the tuner, especially VCT. Made a couple passes and then headed out to the local area.

Don't know their mods besides really loud exhausts and pretty sick cams, both can be heard idling at the line. Both cars also had drag wheel setups while I had 18s out back and 20s up front. Enjoy.

Good win on the second race. Looked like a 16 or 17 Camaro. I love beating those cocky bastards.

Congrats on the wins. I know your in the tuning process, but aren't you gonna share some times and speeds ? It's been very slow here lately and we could use the excitement lol.

About what you would expect from a hellcat at a decent track with less than ideal weather conditions, bottom 11s at slightly over 125.

This was on the way back from the track, guy wouldn't slow down to a 40 or 60. He got on it while being a head of me at 1.5 lengths (heard his downshift) and I got on it too, I was locked manually in 4th at just under 4K rpm which isn't ideal for a car that revs to 7400rpm. I think it would've been a great race on an even start.

Thanks. Goal is 10.89 at 128 or better. I still need to remove my stock resonator and mid section for a 3" mid pipe that removes the bottleneck between the high flow cats and the resonator. I'll likely go with a magnaflow 2in/2out in its place to keep noise down. Also don't have my Mak perf. Procharger 4" inlet yet, still in production. Have a feeling the tuner will soon say, "get a stall if you want to go faster."

What was your 60ft average ? Looked like 1.7-1.8 range from the video. I'm not familiar enough with the newer Mustangs, but can that be improved upon without much work ?

I wish. Never better than a 1.93. Tuner told me to rev it higher, so next time I'll see if it holds at over 2k.

Oh, it'll hold if you got the tire lol. Drop that 60ft down to a 1.6 - 1.7 and watch your ET magically drop 1/2 a second. It's amazing how important that first 60ft are.

Keep us updated...
