GT vs 350z.. C6 flyby
Im on my way home from work when I see a bright yellow 350z...kinda excited cause its suppose to rain for a while and i figured last good race before I put the car away for winter..i follow behind passing my way home just hoping to catch him at a redlight..after about 3 miles past my exit we get one I pulled up next to him and flexing my muscle..he laughs and gives me a thumbs up..LONG LIGHT im waiting and waiting and out of no where a white c6 comes flyin up behind the 350z and is flashing his lights...we take off and i pulled about 2 car length on the z throu 2nd and missed 3rd ahhh he is right beside me..well this young punk in the c6 passes me on the shoulder and gets over infront of me and throws rocks all over my f*cking car! So we are still racing and now im bangin last 2 gears and the z hangs with me til about 125 then he slows down and nods and gets off the exit im furious to catch this vette and atleast flip the bird..lol. but i couldnt catch him cause he ran throu a yellow right and i got a red cause i was like 20 cars behind him.. I need kenne bell!

yeah they are lighter by 100lbs not much stock 350z puts down 230rwhp and 215rwtq..compared to 100lbs heavier gt puttin down 250rwhp and 290rwtq yeah so they do suck

Comparing stock to modded for on par vehicles just isn't fair when the decision of "that car sucks" is made.

I'm a Nissan guy and he's right.. the 350z's suck.
well that is if you only care about straight line performance. Trust me I've driven these things enough to know they are depressing in the power area. Their traction sucks. They have no torque. As far as handling goes though, haha he'd own you in the twisties or on a road course. They handle great, really nice balance. Theres a ton of other reasons why the 350z sucks, no back seat, no room in the car etc. It has unique looks though and thats what sells it really.
As for he statement about modded vs. stock not being fair- I don't know if you've read much about the 350z's 2000Si but equivilant mods would still put that Mustang way ahead. The 350z does not react to modification well at all until you go forced induction. We're talking maybe 5 hp from intake and exhaust. modded vs modded seems about as fair as modded vs. stock 350.
To each his own, but the 350z was out of his element in this type of race and should have expected these results.
