Not sure how the WRX works, but for the STi we get boost creep if we don't have EM. If he does have EM with his mods it'll be one hell of a run. It also depends on how much boost he's running. I'd give him the slight edge, but you should hold your own. Good luck!

Get a good launch with as little tire spin as possible and stay in your power band. You should be able to take him with good high RPM shifts. Good luck, man!

You should be able to beat him as is, but watch your launch... that's really the only advantage he'll have.

If he's running a full exhaust and an intake with no engine management, his car is running like ****. That gives you yet another leg up. If he has engine management and is tuned (assuming stock turbo) he could have roughly around 230awhp and would definitely give you a run for the money. That's more than most stock STIs put down btw ^_^

when he holeshots u, dont get nervous and floor it. stay easy until u can hammer it with no spin.
or hell even redlight it so u can get a jump, haha.

well he didn't show up, i was there from 6:45 to 8:15 and he was supposed to be there between 7:00 and 7:30. I guess I will just have to find him on the street.
