<FONT size=2>It's 1am on a saturday night, and I'm driving home from a club and my ears are hurting. My mods are in the signature below...not too much as of now. I pull up to a red light in the middle of the downtown area, and I see this other mustang pull up next to me. I realized that it wasa smoke grey 03 or 04 Cobra. He gunned his engine and made some pretty good noise. I gunned my engine (and with my exhaust) was much significantly louder...</FONT></P>


<FONT size=2>Then I see a huge cloud of NOS purge from his hood! He was gunning the engine pretty hard now! My friend and I were laughing so hard because we realized we were in DEEP SH*T! I pretty much said "what the hell, why not..." The light turns green, and I give it gas. I gained about 5 feet on him from the start, but then we saw thisblurROAR rightby! He must've reached 80 by the time we reached 40!!! It was so incredible. The supercharger was loud as hell too, I think he has a pulley on there...</FONT></P>


<FONT size=2>So he kicked our little a*ses...we couldn't stop laughing! Only time I felt happy after losing a race...</FONT></P>

I think the Cobra will be my next car once I get out of college and get a job (and stay single so I have money for one). They have always impressed the hell out of me. 390 horsepower! I hope they keep it that way when they unleash the Cobra back in 06. I already know exactly what I want to do to make it a Ferrari killer...

I think it won't have much trouble beating some Ferrari's in a straight ahead race, but I don't think it's possible to be a Ferrari in the twisties with a Mustang. I just don't see it happening.</P>

True, true...I'm just in a different ballpark though. Ferraris are much better, but I could probably use that money on a really nice house rather than a car...I don't dream about them because I know I'll never have one <IMG src=smileys/smiley19.gif border="0"></P>


But Cobras are badass and I definately see myself in the drivers seat of one soon! <IMG src=smileys/smiley17.gif border="0"> They are priced just right.</P>

Oh yes...at the track I had a recent encounter with an 03 Mustang Cobra...yes you'll be like WTF...but I'll explain after you read the times...</P>

Yes, I came close to beating a Cobra by default. His 60' time SUCKED because of traction. I thought it was all good until I saw this BLUR fly by just as I was about to cross the finish line! Normally they'll run 12's stock...but it was kinda fun to think I had a chance!</P>
