Default '08 GT500 Axle Rear Housing Oxidation

How did the QC department at Flat Rock miss having the axle housing/s and associated brackets coated with a durable paint system to prevent the ugly (heavy) oxidation I'm now seeing. From other pics I see posted its a common thing. Is this just suppose to be an accepted oversight?

All I can say is that it's a Ford. American cars are notorious for lack of attention to detail. That's why they are typically way cheaper than Euro cars where you don't see that stuff.

They cut corners on their interiors.....yet pride themselves on their impressive power plants and drive trains...did I miss something?

A little brushing and paint will do wonders. I know back in the day, they painted rears, but not so much now.
