Default linear springs or progressive

i have a 01 vert- i was wondering if the springs are linear or progressive, the car is stock.

the reason i ask is because i heard that the linear springs can have a half coil cut off and still ride like stock. i dont want to be slammed , just want a smaller fender tire gap. thanks guys.

your springs are linear, you can cut them, dont cut more then half a spring at a time, use a high speed cut off wheel, if you want to, you can use a rag soaked in water and place it near the area where you cut to help contain the heat. On the edge where you cut (the very top portion) where it rests inside the pocket, you can also bevel the edge slightly to help prevent squeaking, etc. Be careful when removing and installing the springs!!
