Knocking/creaking sound after suspension/gear install
#21
Got underneath the car today, the noise is coming from around the spherical bearing but I don't it's the actual bearing. Seems like it's coming from the left and right side of the silver cylinder (I don't know the name of it) where it bolts to the body. I've sprayed a bunch of grease from both sides, we'll see if this helps.

Hmmm... are you running a set of '94~'98 LCA's? They had a smaller hole and may be getting slop where it mounts through the TB's. Of course, this would mean you also had those bolts as well, so not likely.
I think they were 10mm bolts, where the New Edge bolts were 12mm.

Either way, you'll have to remove the bolt to check out the holes.

Looking at a similar thread in the S197 section:
"Did you hold off on tightening the LCA and UCA bolts until the suspension was loaded? You could have binding of the bushings if you tightened everything up with the suspension unloaded."
So many potential causes...

More from abuse, or undersized fasteners.
80-100 lb-ft on the LCA bolts.
Spherical bearings to not need to be torqued under a load. They do not bind.
