Default Best rearend for a turbo stang

OK sometime in the near future i plan to build myself a twin turbo motor..havent decided if i want a SBF or BBF. anyway regardless i want to know what is the best set up. I will mainly be using this car on the street to scare the poop out of my passengers. i am going to have a 6 point roll cage with bucket seats and harnesses..yes i am going to have my rear seat in and harnesses in the back also (dont judge me) so itll be a luxury car weighing in at about 4000 ish pounds. ok now the motor i PLAN & HOPE on making it a 1100 HP(to the crank) Pump gas demon. With brake and tranny lock. i havent looked into the transmission just yet but i am going to get a custom built AOD 4 Speed to handle the power and i am going to want 4.10 gears with a 4 link and coilovers all around. ok now my question is with 1100 HP to the crank I know that not just any rearend can handle the HP specially when launched off the trans brake. And from what i understand posi is a no go..however i am stubborn and i am sure i can run a posi with 1100 HP i just need the be stirred on the right direction..any helps guys?? thank you!!

oh and ill be running on an 1/8 mile track most of the time until i get practice and then run on a 1/4.

I would honestly go with a 3.55 or 3.73 over 4.10s. I had all 3 on my old turbo 04 and the 3.73s worked best.

If your only using it on the street rear will hold up fine, car will never come close to hooking on the street launching of a trans brake. Not even close. A ford 9 inch will be fine, plently of posi/lockers/ LSDs that will hold that power just fine, prob be in the ballpark of 800-850 rwhp once u go through the rear and auto. Gear selection depends on tire size.

I run a Strange 9" in my car with similar power, no reliability issues. I believe Strange just came out with some new 35-spline differential. I run a 40-spline spool in mine.

Side note- I'd urge you to reconsider putting passengers in the back seat with a roll cage. A true rollcage will be far too easy for them to hit with their noggin' in case of an accident.

Off topic but you should have padding on any roll cage pipe that you might hit in a wreck. Its cheap and trust me its worth it

Regarless of how much padding, still shouldn't have kids in the back though.
