Should I lower the car?
I do like the looks of the mustangs that are lowered, but I am considering doing a front bumper/chin spoiler or something to the front of the car. I live on a long gravel drive and we have quite a few gravel roads and I don't want to have to drive 2 miles per hour to avoid rock chips and issues.
Would lowering the car present issues for gravel roads and body kits?

Yes it will if he is adding anything to the bottom of the front bumper. If its a daily driver I would suggest no. From personal experience daily driving a lowered rx7 with a full kit for 6-7 years im so over avoiding speed bumps and taking any kind of grade at an angle. I'm assuming this would be on the 2007 listed under his name. Those are not to far off the ground from the factory.
An inch is not that much no but when your closer to the ground to begin with as well as adding to the front bumper ground clearance that inch lowered plus the lip turns into 2-3 inches closer to the ground in the front of the car.
Without the lip leaving the body stock I say go for it. I'd say skip the lip and lower it personally. You will be happier with the handling results than something you can't see from the inside where you spend more time. I have an order of doing things. Get the suspension how you want it ride/height wise then see what you can do with the body after that won't ruin drive ability.

Like I said though you have stock front trim. That's fine. But when you start adding lips and different bumpers then you have issues with lowering
So lower it first then see what you have room for.
