Default SN95 or S197 spindles for Mustang II IFS?

Thanks for your time.

Looking to rip out the old suspension and weld in a Mustang II kit from Horton's later this year. What makes this interesting is that I have a cousin who is looking to unload her non-running 2005 mustang (okay, it runs but it is almost not road worthy) for about $700 since she doesn't have the $$$ to fix it.

How feasible is it to use the front spindles and rotors from her car (or any 2005+ Mustang for that matter)? I see this as a way to get disc brakes for less $$$.

In search of my next cold one...

Not feasible unfortunately. The Mustang II uses an SLA (aka Double Wishbone) system, while the 79+ mustangs all use a MacPherson strut.

Mustang II has two ball joints (upper and lower), 79+ mustangs have just one (lower).
