Opinions regarding 2015 Base Mustang GT w/19' wheels & Ford Racing Handling pack?
I originally was in the market for a 2015 eight speed auto C7 Corvette. Kind of rethinking things, have a wife and two daughter's. Sometimes my mind tells me to get the Mustang due to practicality and sometimes it tells me to forget practicality and get the Corvette. I can't drive manual any longer due to neck / back and leg neuro issues. Car is meant as daily driver with maybe 1-2x a year HPDE / open track beginner fun. Here is my idea of setup / bang for hour buck:
1.2015 Mustang GT automatic w/ upgraded 19 inch black wheels / Ford brand / blue paint.
2.Ford Racing Handling Pack, I believe I can get this pack around a little over a grand.
3.Maybe some High Performance tires / BF Goodrich, G-Force 2 tires.
I believe that the standard Gt brakes on the 2015 are identical to the previous series Brembo brakes / four piston also. Is this right?
I believe the above setup would cost me around $37,998. What do you guys think? Also, the base car without better suspension on does I believe 84 on the lateral skid pad. What my idea for the Gt do in the lateral skid pad, maybe 95-96? Ger.
