Exclamation Foxbody rear suspension options....

Can someone give me some info on some of the different suspension options out there for foxbodys…..and the good/bad points of each setup?

I would like to get rid of the sloppy stock 4-link setup with just the upper and lower controls arms…….and upgrade to something that’s going to make the rear of the car feel for solid and planted. This will be for a daily driver that might see some twisty roads, and maybe a little Ľ mile action. Figure on 350-400hp to the tires….nothing crazy.

After going through the Maximum Motorsporst catalog…it looks like there are lots of options. Everything from just replacing the upper and lower control arms with beefier units, to adding a panhard bar setup, and then the next step is getting rid of the upper control arms and running a torque arms setup.

Any feedback or info on these different setups? Do I really need to dump $1000+ into the rear suspension to get a good handling car?
