I wouldnt be surprised if svoca had a rules and regulation book they give to their members on being a "true svo enthusiast". I will never associate myself with svoca. If real svo enthusiast dont use ebay, then real svo enthusiasts dont mod the svo,... i guess the stingerperformace and forced4 folks arent real enthusiast either,.... i think ive seen them use ebay to sell their parts. Is John Blair with the 9 sec svo the devil? lol evilbay.

the owner of forced 4 is a svoca member and stinger is on turboford and doesn't cater to only svo's he caters to all 2.3 turbo's. Plus both companies sell new parts on ebay not parted svo's. And if you didn't post on svoca then what svo specific site are you referring to?

I dont understand your point of view,... here i have a car totally not worth the money to fix due to the amount of damage on the right side of the car. Wouldnt it be more effective to the svo community to part it out so everyone can get what they need or want to save. Rather than throw it in a junk yard where they would do the samething anyways. Why sell it to one person as a parts car when you can divide it evenly throughout the svo community. I agree with YOU and SVOCA 100% on parting out of savable svos. That shouldnt happen. I just disagree with the maturity level of the svoca web hosts. Theres a wall of shame. Ebay is a wonderful place to help out people who need that corner marker light they dont make. Why is it such a big deal to part out a car that is literally unfit for the road. And for the v8 part,.... I know a guy with a totally built 99 cobra engine on twin turbos in an svo,... thats the most interesting svo ive ever seen. You can blame creative people for Ford having a hard time selling a car in the mid 80's. If they would of made it more appealing than the GT some how, then the production numbers would be well more than 9,844. I love svos, I wouldnt trade mine or sell it let alone part it out for anything (except the gt500kr) I have lots of future plans for it after college. None of it involves parting out or even v8's. I'm going to make myself clear again, NO ONE SHOULD EVER PART OUT SAVABLE SVO. Unfortunately for this svo it was on its last leg. Lost to a black lady in an SUV with no insurance. Maybe us owners are screwed because parts will no longer be made,.... But complaining about people put turbo v8's and people parting out the last of the dead isnt going to make manufactures produce parts.
