Default FMIC and boost.

I'm ready to up the boost. Before I do I just wanted to get a pretty good idea of what kind of power I'll be getting. I've got an 86 with 178,000 miles on it. Runs very good for the amount of miles. Its mostly stock despite the 3 inch down pipe. Theres a guy I met lastnight with a srt4, he has a stock front mount he said he will sell to me for 30 bucks he said he thinks it has 2 a inch inlet and outlet. Would it fit an svo front end? I'm just going to have a muffler shop help me out with some tubes. Is there a particular type of metal to use? I understand that the stock svo runs 15psi on 93. What psi can i run Safely and what kind of hp and tq could i expect from it? Thank you.

Any intercooler will fit with mods, what are the dimensions? Use any metal, mandrel (sp) bent tubing.

What PSI can you safly run? There are so many variables. condition, fuel, temp, timing, intercooler, mods, turbo, fuel pump, fuel injectors, pressure, etc/

I say 17-19 PSI before you'll start to go lean from the stock pump. You should have around 230-250hp, again depending on the above

That sucks, I just replaced the stock fuel pump with,..... a stock fuel pump. TWICE. Im sick of lifting the fuel tank. You think 230 hp will spin 3rd a bit on the road?? You think I NEED to changed the cam at all if i do all this?

You don't have to, but if you want power I would look at a bo-port staged cam
