i have a 89 2.3 and just got a fully built motor,tranny and wiring harness out of an 85 svo,will the svo engine harness swap over to the 89?these 2.3 are new to me.

also,my car has a map sensor,do i use that or do i need a bap sensor?thanks guys

The whole wiring harness for the engines main functions run right from the computer and connect o the 2nd harness on the driver side.

As long as it plugs into the other harness your good to go.

You can use a MAP but you need to take the vacuum line off it

It would easier to if going to turbo on the 89 to use the vam connection only and repin the computer.
Stinger has site with repin info. and this one I like. Reason I like it even add the info for egr valve if need say to met local smog rules.

yea,thats what im gonna do.i looked at both harnesses and the svo onw is alittle different.thanks for the info guys
