There is a 86 SVO for sale in my town, it's a good looking car with 90k miles, new shocks, brakes, tires and the guy says it's running good. I don't know much about these cars but I do own a 88 gt 5.0. Guy is asking $4500 but might come down to $3500. I just wanna know if it's worth it? I love my GT but I only use it in summer and it's in great shape. This car would be my daily driver if I get it. Can anyone give me some advice to whether it's worth it and what else shoul I look for in this car? Thanks in advance.

Well I just talked the car down to 3K and shook on it. Any advice on maintenance would be appreciated.

3K for 90K miles is definitely a good starting point. Personally, I have had excellent luck with my silver SVO. Nothing other than fuel and regular oil changes even while driving the car pretty hard. Others have the opposite luck, issues all the time. Your experience may vary. Stick to true Motorcraft parts when performing tuneups, and keep the fuel octane/boost levels sane and you shouldn't have many issues.
