What more should I add to the engine?

Default What more should I add to the engine?


I have a 1998 mustang cobra w/ 34000 and around 315 hp what should i add to generate more hp?

Chips, air filters, exhaust ...anything (any relitivly cheep ways would be sweet, im a little low on cast)

i think every things stock but i know i have dual header exhaust

They come stock with headers and dual exhaust but the headers leave something to be desired of. If you notice while looking at them they have many crimps and what not that will restrict air flow. I would get headers and x pipe with high flow cats and cat back exhaust the total bill will run like 800 if you bolt them on yourself. Just my .02

If everything is stock your no where near 315rwhp.. stock is 305 at the crank.

The SN's didnt come with headers.. they came with exhaust manifolds.. which leave a LOT to be desired.. a WHOLE LOT.

Best thing to start with would be GEARS, then TIRES, then a cold air intake, larger throttle body, full exhaust, a tune, and some suspension work.. or if you have the cash plunk it down and get blown.
