have a quick question.... i just replaced my intake with an aftermarket one(UPR if it helps) and when im moving and begin to slow down when a red light comes my rpms will just go crazy, they will either stay at like 1800 rpms and not drop even with the clutch is or they will go down to like 400-600 rpms or the whole car will just stall out. anyone else with this issue? thanks

Yep, sounds MAF related. I have forgotten to plug it back in before and it ran really crazy... took me about 3 blocks of driving to decide to pull over and check (Had just cleaned everything on my normal bout of motor cleaning I do). Another time my MAF was dirty and was stalling when I would give it gas between 2500-3000 rpms.. would just chug along very jerky. If I got it over 3k, it was fine.. under it was nuts.. cleaned it, cleared the error I was getting at autozone, and havent had the problem since.

That same **** happened to my 94 COBRA and it cost me hundreds to fix at 3 diffrent dealers until it was fixed right. the test said it was a senser on the throttle body (i thought that sounded right cus i just put a aftermarket one one). i replaced the plug wires distributer all kind of sensers and other little **** and theni put a new coil in and it went away? the RPM's would go crazy all bouncing around and then it would stall out and then sometimes back fire when it started? that **** was wierd.
