When you order the tuner, they will ask you for your VIN and any mods that your car has. They usually include a couple of different tunes tailored for you ride. I believe that you could also save in memory the original tune, in case you need to go back. Hope this helps.

Default RE: Best tuner I can buy?

I have been running the Diablosport Predator in my last two Terminators. These tuners are very user friendly. The new SCT X-CAL 2 is supposed to be one of the best on the market. What seperates this unit from the Predator, is that it allows for the owner to have three tunes stored!! You can swap the tune at the touch of a button!! This is a nifty little tuner!! You could have a daily driving tune, race tune, and another tune!! If you plan on changing your upper pulley, both of the tuners mentioned above have a pulley tune. These tunes are to be only used for 12-14 lbs of boost!! So if you add anything smaller than a 2.8 upper pulley, you will need a custom tune. And remember, these tunes are generic and are not to be used permanantly! Every car is different and will require special attention. If you add a pulley, get a custom tune to fit YOUR car! Some good reputable tuners will even give you a special discount if you buy a tuner from them. Better to be safe than sorry!!
