for you 03 04 cobra owners did you have to pay over msrp when and if you bought it from the dealer like how the new shelbys are going for 20k over msrp.

I paid invoice then I had a $3000 rebate on top of that.
I would never ever pay sticker for a new car.
Over sticker is for suckers.

Early on dealers were marking up the stickers by as much as $5,000. By late 2002 90% of the dealers were selling them at sticker. We started seeing discounts shortly thereafter. I paid straight sticker for mine. Bought it in December of 2002. Dealer (or should I say Stealer - LOL!) markups on the new GT500 were expected. Greed! People should try to hold off buying one until the initial markups disappear. And they will.

i paid 1k under trade in value for mine, but it had 2k miles on it.
