NEW HERE,WAITING FOR MY O3 COBRA
Hey guys i was just wondering what you all thing about my new purchase?
I picked up an 03 cobra silver 31,000 miles for 22,500
IT has some simple mods, exhaust intake, black bullitt wheels with 315's in the rear,
steeda springs,a 4 point padded roll cage with harnesses,a-pillar boost and a/f gauges
and a carbon ware cowl hood.
think 22,500$ is a good price? the dealer was asking 25,000$ i talked him down.
let me know what you think?
thanks,

Congrats on your purchase. That's a hell of a deal, especially with the mods! If its Satin Silver, then its only 1 of 242 hardtops made for 2003, or 1 of 81 converts. Theres also the Silver Metallic color too. If you didn't get your certificate from SVT, you can call them and order one. Whats the ride quality with the Steeda's? Any plans?

Thanks pal,I am not sure how the ride is. the car is in texas...and i am in massachusetts.
i hear its pretty good though. and the stance is great.
i have looked for a while now for a cobra. And seems you cant touch one for under 25 with 30,000 miles
and with mods forget it.and i talked the guy down from 25000 to 22,500 I think thats a good deal from the research i have been doing.
Anyways thanks for the welcome.[:-]

is this the color you were talking about? and p.s. i have the stock hood too.
i dont like how the color doesnt match the best on the cowl hood. i will take it to my body shop and have it re-done.

RE: NEW HERE,WAITING FOR MY O3 COBRA
thanks JAMES,i am planning on doing a bunch of stuff to it. my last car was an e36 m3 and while they handle great i am more of a straight line type of guy. i had 20,000 into my last car...so i think if i invest half that in this car i should be in good shape. haha
i see you also have a cobra nice choice!
question: if i do the pulley i need a tune as well right?

if it has the sock pulley on the charger then i would NOT change it..get yourself a 6lb lower and a diablosport predator tuner and dont mess with it..there has been lost of cases where the seal on the stock charger goes out and leaves people on the side of the road so just get the lower..youll be happy with that

Yes, you will need a dyno tune and an aftermarket heat exchanger.
