fender or "ram"

Should i get a fender well intake or a "ram" intake, being the normal one. Its on a 99 svt

ram. More direct airflow, and if it is a REAL ram air system, youll notice a larger power gain over the fenderwell style.

why is the fenderwell one more expensive?

more material i wouold guess. the other thing about the fenderwell intake is that the air in the fender well is cooler than the air in the engine compartment so your intake temps will be a little bit lower.

A fenderwell makes more power than the ram. It gets cooler air in the fenderwell. A ram air is right next to the engine, how do you think that one gives you more power. Do some research. Check out jlt.

i put the BBK fenderwell on my 99. it is pretty easy to install. the hardest part is pulling the inner fender to put the air filter on, but that is really not that hard just takes a few minutes. looks great too.
