01 vs 03 cobra
They have a 2001 cobra at a dealer near me and I was thinking of asking about it, I have a 2001 gt and was thinking of getting another car befor the summer I told them if they get a 03-04 in call me . I just looked at the sticker and it said 10k miles and it was the color I was looking for yellow
I do have a led foot and Im sad to say I got smoked by a audi A6 this kid had a maxima with some mods and I took him 2 months later he gets this audi 2002 I beleave and said it only had tranny/muffler on it, He said it after he smoked me 2x from a stop on the highway I was going 135 and was not catching up [&o] He is a honest kid and felt bad after he spanked me and said if I do any mods and want to run again he would. I know my car is a auto but a auto V8 gt vs a man V6 audi I couldnt beleave it. So with that said my next car I get Id like it to have ***** so Whats the 1/4 times stock on both 01-03 cobras and any other big diff with the two Thanks for the help

I've seen a 01 pull a 13.9 pure stock, but he was driving the **** outta it...most common good runs i've seen run about 14.1
An 03 ive heard can run high high 12's but ive seen low 13's at my local track
as for the differences...
what the 01 has vs. what the 03 has
N/A vs eaton supercharger
aluminum block vs. cast iron
forged crank vs. fully forged internals
5 speed (3650?) vs 6 speed (T-56)
Less refined IRS vs. More refined IRS
3.27's vs. 3.55's
no warranty vs. warranty
dont feel bad about the kill...there's a N/A CRX around here that gave me a better run than a 18 psi eclipse

i have seen terminators run 12.6 bone stock with a pro driver. So just an average to good drive should be able to pull off a 12.9. I did the first time ever at the track with anything. Although my car has drag radials. I should be able to run a 12.6 with what i have now. I just need to cut a better 60ft. As for the 01 cobra i'm thinking high 13s low 14s. You never know whats going to happen at the track with the drivers now a days. I was next to a 05 GTO when i ran my 12.9 and he ran a 14.0 but its supposed to be kinda the same #'s. So you make the choice and let us know.

Mid 13s are common for stock '01 Cobras,if you all you can get is a 14 somebody can't drive.
