4.30...why not get into the powerband quicker? its hard enough getting up to the 4500+ we need to get these cars moving, may as well get there faster
even if its a DD 4.30 is not too much believe me i've done it for 2 years now

Just one question about this post... Where do you get that there will be less wheel spin. Wheel spin comes from not having enough suspension to put the power to the ground and lower gearing gets the power to the wheels faster...

Actually the 96-98 cobras doesn’t even get in to its power band until 5k and it will hold it until 7500 RPM and with the 4:30 gears it brings that power to you the easiest. The 4:10s are a good gear but on these three years you will wish that you went with the 4:30. the 4:30 gear will make the car way more friendly to drive on the street also will cut way back on the tire spin thus causing you to hook up a lot quicker
