the 5.0 cobras suck. 240hp. ugly.

Damn it to hell, the 240 is underrated ding dongs LOL. its 275. I love my 5.0 Cobra. The 4.6 dohc is an awesome motor but i wanted the "lumpity lump" of a 331 stroker. Like I said in another thread, 5.0s are much much cheaper and easier to mod. A PI swap for a 4.6 can cost almost 3K just for parts depending on what you want! I can get a good stroker kit for 1,300 (includes Victor Jr. Heads, and forged everything). With all the forged interals and a proper tune I could run a 200 shot of N20.

pi swaps are for 96-98 gt's. not cobras. the dohc heads the cobras come with own p&p pi heads. and bro, you cant get vc jr heads and a forged 331 kit for 1300. just the heads will run over $1000.
