so i got my 03 cobra about a month ago and of course all my friends have their cars and wanna testthem out against mine. so a buddy from high school comes home for xmas and wants to run his camaro ss with a few mods against my stock cobra. so i meet him and i know we shouldn't of raced on the road but i'll take anything to shut a chevy enthusiast up. so wepull a u-turn on thisstraight away, him in front of me and b4 i could get on the road he starts to hit it....so i hit it after he does and gradually pass him. we go back to where my friends were hanging out and he tries to tell themthat he had me to 100 then i passed him. i told all them the truth and luckily the guy in his passanger seat admitted to them that he hit it b4 me. if we were side by side i would of pulled at least 2 car lengths away easy...what nerve these chevy egomaniacs have huh?

sounds interesting.. I like all american muscle cars though, certainly not a chevy hater. 2 of my buddies have SS 99-2001 camaros. very decent cars.

And to the guy above me.. domestics hating domestics is stupid, pointless, and ignorant. That is exactly why the japanese car companies are overtaking domestic ones.. not enough domestic unity.

dont underestimate the ls1.....im not takin up for chevy here. im a ford guy that grew up in a ford family.but i luv allamerican muscle. good kill either way. i luv killin an ls1.

Be careful. I had a full bolt-on 00 z28. Those cars will MOVE.
