will these tires fit on my stock rims?

i know this should go into the wheels and tires section, but it is totally dead in there.. so anyways.. i have a stock rims on my1996 cobra and i have 245/45ZR/17 all the way around.. would some 275/40ZR/17 fit without any problems on my rims with any rubbing anywhere?

Whats the width of your stock rims? Are they 8 inches or 9 inches? I would think it would fit either, you might have a little bulge with the 275's on an 8 inch rim.
