I'd put 4.10's only if you have a 6 speed. If you do alot of highway driving at 70 mph youll be running like 4500 rpm+
they take a big chunk out of your top speed too.
IMO 4.10's + 5 speed, doesnt work.
bigger is not always better. Its strictly preference.
Also michael where do you get 21 mpg? As far as I knew no mustang except a 6 cylgets 21 mpg road or highway. Maybe im wrong?

CIA With K@N full exhaust from headers back. Long tube headers with shorty x or h pipes will alow for better torque gains. You must upgrade your suspension at some point so might as well throw some eibach's or etc on there. you should get new fully adjustable caster camber plates. Your rear tires must always run with a slight amount of negative camber which tilts the top of the tire out. this not only increases your lateral G's but can increase your treadwear.Dependent on how strong and taken care of your engine is a s/c is always a fantastic choice. Not only are you looking at 40% or more hp gains but you can also get increased gas mileage at low RPM's. Good Luck.

thats what i got i went with a vortech supercharger its efficient and provides a great hp boost along with a pulley kit. the engine is immaculate as it only has 28k on the clock. i also got a stiffer rear suspension put in. the thing really puts out hahaha i just gotta drop some new gears in the rear end...i like the 3.73's my friend who has a mach1 put them in and theyre working out nicely for him.

70 mph does not tach out 4500 rpm not even 3500. I hear of a lot of people on here putting 4.30 and 4.56 in their cobras 99-01. as far as suspension goes that is for the wheel hop and he will see what i mean. 99s were the worst years for the wheel hop bushings not as good. so i guess it is whatever you want to do to the car, i would not change one thing about mine.
