I thought that all Cobra's came stock with the front strut tower bar? Are they worth the money? What brand should I get?

I did bodywork on a cobra that had struts that were literally inverted (more than they are supposed to be obviously)because he didnt have a bar. Sucked.

They're worth every penny.

The 96 and 97 came with the strut tower brace, but the 98 didn't... I heard that Ford decided that they weren't going to put one on there because it was just for looks and a mind game... Let me explain... The aftermarket had gone strut tower brace crazy, so Ford originally had decided that they needed to put one on there even though the thing serves no porposeand took until 98 before they stopped messing with us... My experience with them is that on my 94 that had one, the wheels gotto going slantwaysanyways (threw the caster/camber out of whack)... None the less, I have never taken mine off of my two 97s... Now that is until I get a Kenne Bell blower (no room for one with that blower)... Not more than a few months off of getting it, so we will see in a few years where the truth lies...
