i live in hialeah..right next door to miami lol..

someone told me that a cobra is listed as a race car for insurance companies so if i got one i would be forced to get full coverage..is this true?

absoltuely not. Its listed as a sports car. And you'll have to pay hefty insurance, even with a clean record. Unless your over 25.

btw im movin down to orlando in august, I know they're far apart but we should roll sometime.

It is actually listed above sports cars, more in a "super car" catagory, at least it is with my insurance. when i added it i told him 03 mustang, he asked base v-6 or GT, i said cobra, agent say woah now thats different, the coverage for that is gonna be a bit more expensive lol.

oh ok, cuz a friend told me its listed as a race car so i have to get full coverage..i think im gonna go with another GT and put a KB in it like the one i had..Cobras are costing too much mula and around here in hialeah there is a very high theft rate for cobra's...a certain group of ppl have been going around stealing cobras and im scared to get one because of that..

no you only have to get full coverage if u get a loan on the car... and as far as cobra rates, they are higher in south florida....but not by much considering the amount of car u get.... our rates down here are just higher in general, cobra or not.....i live in hollywood myself and have an 03 cobra vert...
