A 99 with a KB is at it's limits internally. Have money prepared for a new shortblock as you can be sure how the car was driven or how safe the dyno tune is.

IMO, I'd go with the 03.

In my opinion i would go with an 03 cause it looks nicer and u'll be able to get more "juice" out the engine.

the 03 irs isa bit beefier, the half shafts are stronger and break less often.

I would go with the 03, it looks better and it's cheap to make just as quik as the KB 99 cobra. Many more options for the future whithout internal upgrades, also more valuble. what is the price difference?

well look at it like this, the 99 wit kb is done, thats all ur gettin out of it. the 03 will make that power wit stock blower and pullies. and then a termy wit a kb will kill all. over 700 rwhp. jmo.

go wit da 03', My brother owns a 99 cobra and he wishes he had a 03-04 for the main that he's a 456RWHP and thats the most he's gonna get w/o major engine work. 03-04 u can take to 600 I believe w/o any major work to do.

Buy the 99...buy a build shortblock and transmission and kick the crap out of most of the 03's on the road today for the price they paid for their car stock.
