Default Looking to purchase 94-95

I want to sell my 91 GT for a 94-95 Cobra. My 91 has some light mods and 3.73s, what gears did the Cobra's have? Will a stock Cobra feel much faster than my 91(5 spd)?

I want to get something with a nicer body and interior but am also looking for some more stock power. My budget is around $6k and I'd like to stick with the 5.0.

first of all..

althought 5.0 is cheaper to mod, the 4.6 is a MUCH better, smoother, and more modern running engine.

To anyone who wants to **** about the .4 liters difference of the engine, go download blueprints to a 3.0 ferrari v8 and tell me liters actually matter.

Now that I've gotten that out of the way..

The stock gears I'm not sure about, but with a little google research I bet you could find it in 3 minutes tops.

The difference between your stang now and a cobra is huge. You'll notice it on first drive. I've smoked a TON of foxbody GT's, they just cant match with the cobras, even with decent mods.

When you get your cobra you'll want to get 3.73's, because they only have the T45 transmission.. anything smaller is unpractical for everyday driving for numerous reasons. Although if you plan to tranny swap for a 6 speed tranny, then go all out 4.10's.

Cheapness is huge to me since I don't have much money; I'm still in school. Now do the 94-95s havea t-45? cause i thought they still had T-5s.

If it is just the power that your looking for the cobra has GT40P Heads ( Dime a dozen ) A Cobra intake the Motorsport E cam. and 24# injectors. I gurantee that all of this could be had for about 500$. If you need some parts PM me and I'll hook you up. If it is the cocbra that your after then it's a great upgrade to go to the SN-95 body style. Stock for stock the Cobra will seem faster but not by much if your Fox runs strong because the SN-95 weighs a bit more.

BTW the 94-95's do have a T-5. Not the same as a Fox though it's a little longer.

So you think a 91 GT with headers and exhaust will run with a 94-95 cobra? My main concern here is the rideability and a cozy interior of the SN-95. Now if I understand correctly, the Cobra has a different suspension components?

I'm not sure about a 5.0 cobra, but a 4.6 DOHC cobra will walk it easily.

I found a 97 Cobra with 99k miles for $5300 and i'm pretty tempted to buy it. Looking at some numbers, is it true that the DOHC 4.6 has the same torque as the 94-95 Cobra and both less than a newer Fox GT? just seems weird.
