gear instalation on 03 cobra??????
My brother in law wants to put some gears in his 03' and somebody told him that he has to split the case and that they are a pain in the ***... and not like the regular 8.8, does anyone know what this job all consists of, how difficult is it, and if u need to take out the rear end????

its worst them a stright axle but its not that bad.. im guess youre taking out the 3.55 for some 3.90s ? s/c motors dotn like more gear then that.
you dont have to split the case you got to drop the center section out , and leave the axles hooked up still to the outer part the the wheel you dont have to remove the outer, .
