New to this side of the forums got some Q's
Well I decided I'm going to buy a 03-04 Cobra. I've wanted one for a while now. But the downside is I will have to sell my 92 GT. I never drove a 03-04 Cobra just heard a few things about them and I havewatched a ton of videos on streetfire. The Cobra I'm looking at is a 03 with 13,200 miles on the clock and its Black my color of choice. The dearlership is asking $23,450 which is a good price for the miles. It has a Magnaflow catback thats it. What are some minor mods I can do to boost up the preformance a little bit, I wantto keep it simple on this car. And to the 03-04 cobra owners, do you have any complaints on these cars, are they worth the money?

yes they are worth the money you will not be disappointed. You can get a smaller pulley and a tune for right around $1,000 and get about 50rwhp outta that.

Billetflow pulley and hub- 150
jlt intake - 225
tune - 500
total-$875
I dynoed my car with just a magna flow cat back and made 371 rwhp, with the jlt pulley and tune added it was 443 so for 875 bux you would be looking at a pick up of around 72 rwhp.

Yeah I was. The day I posted on here I was going to drive down to look at the car. They sold it. So now I'm going tokeep looking for a black 03-04 low miles. When you guys talk about doing exhaust, do u mean aftermarket headers too, or just x-pipes or h-pipes and catbacks? And what exhaust setups sound good on these cars?

just midpipe and catback.
500rwhp is only a couple grand away... like they said: intake, pulley, tune and midpipe w/catback = 460rwhp/tor or so... Once you get ported you may need a new MAF and a BAP which are a few hundred each - but it's a recipe for a bit over 500rwhp...
