Default Buying a Cobra

You will probably spend middle to higher 20's this time of year... the higher milage cobras are a bit cheaper, but for a good quality one around summertime - you're looking at the mid to upper 20's

well im going back to school in about 2 weeks do you think I should wait until maybe Nov./Dec. time to start looking for a lower mileage one for around 22K? I saw Cobra Bob's page there seems to be an awful lot of stuff...mayeb you know but does the Gas Guzzler tax still apply or is that when you buy it new from the dealership?

the gas guzzler tax, was added to the MSRP.

Not sure, you never know how the market will be.. I got mine for 23 with 28k on the clock w/clean carfax... my car right now is going for 26-27k... It all depends... you gotta remember in the fall... the cars will be older (the 2009 model year is only a few months away), and more miles of course... so choose your poisen.

Haha precisely my dilema, do I wait for the price to drop but sacrifice mileage!! Also, I was thinking about buying a Mach1 for like $15-$17K and there are tons out there..keeping it until maybe NEXT summer and then revisiting the cobra market..i cant decide! either way its time for a manual V8 mustang

I would shop around - maybe you can find a good deal... but i wouldnt plan on buying a mach now, just to trade it for a cobra next year - that doesn't make sense to me money wise...
