Your an absolute idiot! All cobra's have aluminum blocks. My guess is it's not a Teskid. I would be really surprised if it is. They stopped those in 98. Now this doesn't mean they didn't have surplus, but those numbers would be really really low. Your block can still handle 900+hp, but it need some machining in the oil galleys and waterpump areas for better flow.

first of all, dont come in here calling ppl idiots! the post above urs, was just a humorous post intended to make ppl laugh. and ur wrong mr. expert. some 99's and some 01's came with the teksid block. And the WAP aluminum blocks are not intended to hold 900+ hp, so dont go around tellin ppl this misinformation.

AND U SAID "ALL COBRAS HAVE ALUMINUM BLOCKS"!! WRONG AGAIN EXPERT!! 03/04 COME WITH CAST IRON BLOCKS!!

Im not sure if you can still do it or not, but you used to be able to contact SVT and give them your Vin # to get it. I think if you fax'ed the a copy of your title/owners card they would send you a little SVT certificate with the build #
