i personally like the IRS the ride is so much nicer, with the right mods, the IRS can be strong enough, but a lot of people do the soild rear swap if your purpose is to drag the car a lot

Solid axle if your going to launch at high RPSwith slicks, if your gonna run slicks launch at 2k then get into it and you will be fine. Upgrading half shafts is a waste of money. IRS definately rides nicer. FTW
