How much psi could a stock 99 cobra engine hold? What mods would you have to do to be able to hold more psi?

5psi non-intercooled, 7-9 w/ intercooler. even then, you better start a savings fund for the 'what-if' scenario.

to turn up the boost, you need to have the motor rebuilt w/ forged rods & pistons. crank is already a forged piece.

you are wrong. 99/01 crankshafts ARE forged.most companies reuse it when you send your motor off to be built.`

Getting an aftermarket intercooler is your best bet. More safer for your engine since cooling and more boost

any intercooler on a '99 is going to be 'aftermarket'.
