Stock Drop inK&N Air Filter VS. Cold air Kit ??
Okay I wanted to ask if I should buy a Stock Drop-in K&N or a K&N Cold kit or I'll take opinions on whats best for my 98 stock cobra i just bought. Is it worth the $40 for the stock change or 150+ for the cold air kit and what kinda of gains maybe a mpg with stock and two or three with the cold kit and I know of course that a cold kit gains 10-25hp maybe and I'm mainly looking to get your guys advice.. Because I know if you add the cold kit thats more flow in and is that gonna gain me with stock exhaust..And down the road when i have the money will get changed to the Side-exhaust with the oval molding which looks so awsome. Cuz right now i mainly want to gain mpg ... Im not expecting a durastic gain maybe a mile or two more Im getting 20mpg city ... Thankx Matt

RE: Stock Drop inK&N Air Filter VS. Cold air Kit ??
Cold air intake is far superior like mfj said. But I've had my car for a week to this day and all I have done is took the air silencer off and put a k&n filter since I noticed it needed to be changed from the opening of the intake unit. Doing both of those things gained me some gas mileage and it does better, not significantly but you can hear it's better that it's breathing better.
