RE: Clutch slipping, time fro a t-56 swap?
I've decided to just do the clutch and replace the trans when I build my engine. What kind of clutch would you guys recomend, I thinking about a spec stage 1 for the time being.

stage 1 is fine for ur current set up, certainly a lot better than stock, but i would just go to stage 3 if ur doing spec, so u won't have to change it again, if u get some crazy planse to add a lot of hp that is...

I'm planning to eventually have a tt setup that will be pushing 1000+hp so I will probably be going with a different clutch setup then. I was thinking a stage 2 as well, but if I get a stage 3 I am assuming the clutch will lasta lot longer. When I bought the car it had a racing clutch in it (I think it is a spec because the I can see the pressure plate through the clutch fork opening and it is the same color blue as the spec pressure plate.). The car also already has a firewall adjuster. I am still considering swapping out the trans for a tko 600, would this be a good decision, can the tko 600 be built to handle1000+ rwhp?

tko600 is a very good transmission! but it will not handle the torque of a 1000 hp twin turbo set up. if u were to go that route, i would do the g-force t-56, like i did, but that cost me $5800 for just the transmission!!!!!! also, i use the mcleod dual disc clutch.....

the g-force cost me $5800 for just the tranny
My tko 500 only cost me $2200 brand new (about 2 years ago), but the 600 is a little bit more.
The tko trannys are geared pretty much the same as ur stock tranny. All u need is the bell housing to go with it. U can use the same driveshaft and everything else...

i know i'll get bashed for saying this, but cams really don't add a whole lot to our cars. I did mine, just because my engine was already apart, mainly as a "sound" mod, lol!

^ ditto. From what I've read, some cars can get a decent gain just by degreeing the stock cams correctly, since Ford didnt really pay very good attention to this. Swapping out the cams, especially in relationship to cost, doesnt provide ALL THAT much of an additional increase. I personally wouldnt do it unless your looking for every bit possible out of an extreme NA build.
