cobra 3rd brake light wiring harness???
 

I've a 02 GT and i just bought a 04 cobra wing. Which harness do i need for the 3rd brake light. Is there a conversion or a part number etc??? I thought they would be the same but after pulling off my stock wing,brake light etc i found out it was diffrent. I read on here that the harness is about $40 from a dealer but i just need to know what to ask for when i go there. Thanks

Get the one from the dealer thats what my boy did on his GT when he put the Cobra spoiler on. Also make sure you fill in the holes are it will leak, he had to find out the hard way!

Sweet I put an 04 cobra spoiler on my 01 GT Damn That spoileris SEXY!!!! lol I just spliced the wires & attached the The old harness to the new LED 3rd brake light. its the same voltage just know the diffrence form The + / - wires Thats all. Or go to ford & ask for theharness wires

Are any of you 03/04 cobra spoiler guys willing to take your spoiler off and get me some good measurements to drill my mounting holes?

which wires do you splice? I need to splice mine but dont wanna mess up

Make your own? Crimp on some spade ends, and plug them in. It's two
wires...

From the car:
Male +
Female -

At light:
Female +
Male -

This way, you can't plug it in backwards if you go LED one day, if not, then
it doesn't matter.

so i installed my spoiler yestetday. But my 3rd brake light isint Working bcs itss not connected. Ik i can splice the wires, but which wire goes spliced with which from the spoiler? Is it same to same color or opposites?🤔. Sorry if it sounds like a stupid question i just cant figure it out and dont wanna mess them up

With an incandescent bulb, polarity does not matter. If it is LED, then it
matters, You can test with a volt meter. If you get -12 testing then you're
backwards.
