alright im curiouse on how much power im pushing to the wheel with my 2003 cobra.

2.8 pulleys
c&l coldair intake
lfp heat exchanger
magnaflow catback

cc plates
eibach drag launch springs
8.8 solid axle rearend
42 lb fuel injectors
upr control arms
steedashort throw shifter



oh i also have a aftermarket boost gauge and it says im now pushing out 14 lbs of boost. Is this becuase the cold weather down here in fort worth texas? Before that i was pushing the stock 8-9 lbs.


i ran a 7.8 in the 1/8th mile.

i also wanna do cams in the future.. but alot of people tell me its pointless and a waste of time and money? is this true? will it have an agressive sound with my set up? how much hp would i be looking at WITH the cams?

one more question, how much hp could the 03-04 cobra engines hold?

If you did all that and didn't get a tune you should. A good dyno tune will definalty give you a few extra ponis and will let you know exactly where you stand power wise. Since I'm not to keen on cams for 4vs, let alone for termies, i'll let someone else handle that one.

Cams are going to cost A LOT, for little gain. Remember that you are buying 4 cams, so plan on spending at least $1500-2000, if not more on the cams alone. Plus, if you aren't going to install them yourself then you can add another good chunk to that. The gains you will get won't be worth the money, and we all love the sound a cammed car, but that's certainly not worth the money. Most people only do cams if they are doing an engine rebuild and would actually gain from them.

Oh, and just judging from the mod list you gave, you're probably around 450 RWHP or so. You have similar mods to what I have.

14-15 lbs is right for a 2.8" pulley.
