What year Cobra? I cant see one puttin down 380 to the wheels with just a cam swap.. Maybe a decent set of cams and head work will get you around 350whp...but that might be pushing it.

The prob. with cam upgrades on a cobra is that you must have lower gears, upgraded t/b, air intake, bigger injectors. That's a must for stage 2&3. I suppose if you went with a mild cam you can get away with just a minor tune, but you'll gain maybe like 20rwhp off of mild cams but with stage 2 0r 3's you could see upwards of 50rwhp improvement. Don't let that fool you because you will have to upgrade fual and air requirements so the price goes up substantially. Ofcourse you would need a tune. A far as seeing 380rwhp out of a 99-02 N/A cobra you would need some head work, LT headers, full exhaust, t/b, possibly ported intake and the cams with a custom dyno tune. Honestly, I wouldn't just throw a set of cams in the 4v motors unless I had the heads off and had to start over. I would suggest putting a s/c on if I were you.
If you were looking to buy those stage 2/3 cams from the for sale section....I wouldn't reccomendthem. I wouldn't do used cams for the 4v as they could be costly if anything were to happen or for that matter not happen...lol Those cams are $988 shipped off ebay new. You should get new springs with any set of cams, but just remember the 4v's need that off the line grunt they are lacking even from the factory. Stage 2 cams and a set of 4:30 gears would be my choice when I rebuild.

Get yourself a boost a pump and a set of 03 04 cobra injectors and new throttlebody mabe a cobra r intake manafold and you will be set. Off rpmoutlet.com you can get a set of cams and springs for a pretty good price and hooker lt's arn't that bad and you could possibly be at 380 at the wheels with head work and stage 3 with cc heads but prob around 350 unless you get head work let us know how it works
