All 99-04 Cobra's came with IRS. the '99 was a 28 spline unit, the 01, 03-04 were 31 spline units. so he could also go with an IRS out of an '01.
goes to show that high post count doesn't always mean right.

he can keep his stock IRS assembly, but will have to swap the 31 spline differential AND half-shafts. or, less work would be to drop the entire IRS and bolt in one from an '01 or 03/04.

im the one wit the 99 cobra i would be interested in it but i am buyin axles form the driveshaft shop and my bushings from maximum motorsports so all i really need is a 31 spline differential
