I'm getting some mods done for my wifes 97 Cobra. I'm getting shorties put on and a true dual Magnaflow exhaust system. I'm having 3.73's put in and have now hit a brick wall.

I want to put in a CAI system but I have the strut tower brace so that leaves out JTL. I prefer to have the filter in the fenderwell and I'm finding out that the options are very limited. Can some of you give me an idea of what you've done.

Ive done 4.30's and a bbk fenderwell CAI.I had to grind a small part of the strut brace to put my intake but works fine now.If you havent already bought the gears Id suggest getting a steeper set. 4.30's FTW!!!!

yea the BBK i think is made for the strut tower brace. You can always remove the brace...

I just replaced my pulleys, flash tune, and replaced all rear control arms. Also welded up a set of subframe connectors. That'll tightn her up a bit. ( I too have 3.73's, CAI,and cat back)

ive got the K&N drop in filter with mine, just go with that, the CAI are expensive for the cobras, I looked into them but just had the filter.
