New twin turbo build

Weekend project
I really like the blue FRPP valve covers (M-6582-A54) for the DOHC, but they are only for 99-04 (regardless of what the catalog says). Not only that, but they are over $300 and I'm not spending that kind of money on a pair of valve covers.
Enter ebay. I found a pair of used Lincoln Mk VIII black valve covers a couple of months ago and finally did something with them this weekend. About an hour into stripping the old paint off, I was seriously considering dropping them off to be sandblasted and powder coated, but decided against it just because of the expense (plus, there's no sense of accomplishment doing that). Anyway, I kept at it and got both finished. All told, it was about 8 hours work. Ok, ok, so it's not sexy like a new twin turbo kit or engine. I promise I'll post pics of the turbo kit when I get it.

RE: Weekend project
very nice progress!!! good to see it going forward!
btw, i'm not a big fan of "put it together turbo kits"...
i much prefer custom fabrication, because i have seen too many customers that had sooo much fitment issues, and cheap piping material, BUT i have ZERO experience with the HPP kit...
the only kit i actually liked so far, are the hellion units though....

I just can't believe this is all finally coming together. Despite all the planning that went into this project, I keep wondering what I'm forgetting. No doubt something important.

RE: Weekend project
The wife and I worked on the interior this weekend. We replaced the carpet and fitted the roll bar, which will be going to get welded this week. I really need to replace the door panels. Anyone know where I can find some?
