hmm seems liek the gt500 should pulled him harder then that with a 180rwhp advantage. seems kinda fishy. some one must be fudging their numbers.

07 shelby gt500 = brick on wheels. ford needs to go back to the drawing board and come out with a mustang that isn't so god damn heavy.

Yep GT500s are like a brick but with that type of HP advantage I think the Stang should of pulled a little better than that.

I too think the Shelby should've pulled a little harder than that, but being 800 lbs heavier w/ much worse aerodynamics it would make a big difference at higher speeds. With sticky tires the Shelby should pull on it pretty good at the strip though.

check your math it favors the gt 500.
corvette 3200 lbs with 501 whp = 6.38 lbs per 1 whp
gt500 4000 lbs with 680 whp = 5.88lbs per 1 whp
not by as much as i would have thought though.
